Market Web's Remote Access Portal

Hosted Desktop Access (HDA)

Hosted Desktop Access allows you to securely connect to your office computer remotely across the Internet. This allows you to have access to all the applications, and information you have just as if you are at your computer in the office.

To use this service you need:

  • Market Web Hosted Desktop Solution
  • Your computer at your office needs to be turned on. E.g. Not in sleep mode, or powered off
  • You have your office computers name. E.g. mws-002.
    You can find your computer name by clicking Start->Run. Type info and click Ok.
  • A computer with internet access and the latest version of the Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) Client. It is available here

Remote Desktop Connect

Type in your computer name and click connect.

Remote Desktop Login

Login to the Remote Access Gateway with your email address and password, and click OK.

Outlook Web Access (OWA aka Webmail)

Outlook Web Access allows you to securely connect to a web version of your Outlook mailbox across the Internet. This allows you to have access to all the email, contacts, and calendar information you have stored in your mailbox.

To use this service you need:

  • Market Web Hosted Exchange
  • A computer with internet access and a web browser. (Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer is the only supported browser however other browsers should work)

Please note: There are two login options; public/shared computer and private computer. If you are at home or another trusted location it is recommended that you choose private as this will give you a more rich experience. If you are at an Internet cafe or another public terminal it is recommended that you choose public/shared this will ensure that no information will be stored on the local machine.

Outlook Voice Access (OVA)

Outlook Voice Access allows you to connect to a telephony version of your Outlook mailbox from any traditional land line phone or cell phone. This allows you to have access to all the email, contacts, and calendar information you have stored in your mailbox via an easy to use voice recognition interface.

To use this service you need:

  • Market Web Hosted Exchange with OVA add-on
  • A telephone
